About
Claire Seeley has been a teacher for over twenty-six years in a wide variety of contexts including both inner city and rural schools. Claire is also a Primary Science Consultant, providing both a wide range of CPD and ITE courses across East Anglia for STEM Learning and as an independent consultant. Claire supports many organisations within the Education Charity sector, writing materials and providing bespoke training courses, working with them to improve their services to schools. She has a Masters degree in Environmental Education and has a passion for exploring the natural world.
Alongside her consultancy work, Claire is a regional mentor for the Primary Science Teaching Trust and hub leader for Primary Science Quality Mark. She is a regional champion for various primary Science education initiatives including The Great Science Share, Explorify and ESERO-UK.
Over the last five years Claire has worked as an education consultant on a number of BBC projects including: BBC Teach - Terrific Scientific, Games - Earth Squad Go & Galaxy Pugs, BBC Bitesize Daily - Primary Science. CBeebies - Kit & Pup, JoJo & Gran Gran, Number One Newton Avenue.
Claire has worked on both live action and animation projects. She ensures that the content is both age appropriate for the audience and that the core educational messages are clear, whilst retaining fun, playful, story telling. She provides the team with support through each stage of the creative journey, including: story planning, editing scripts and suggesting practical activities. When working with animation she supports the editorial process at design, outline and animatic stages, through to its completion.
